Note that I have an experimental amateur radio station 440mhz 56Kbaud rf-link to sfu.ca.

I have had a mail server running on hera.rfnet.sfu.ca for a few years.

2002:01:01 Determine that Smythies.com Domain name is available

2002:01:02 Book the domain name.

2002:01:02 Begin saga with Telus. Objective = some place to have my server

2002:01:12 Borrow a web page from Richard Neufeld, so that I can figure out how to do one.

2002:01:15 I should have static IP address’ by now.

2002:01:16 Hmmm, no static IP address.

2002:01:29 been busy with Science World, Soccer, other computers, …

2002:01:29 Have Static IP. Don’t have Smythies.com pointing there. It is pointing to the Telus web server.

2002:01:29 Put this page up on 64.180.103.81 (which will be smythies.com) as a test.

Anyway, this page is just a test page. I hope to have better stuff going very soon. I don’t even know how to link to other pages yet.

I would say what O.S. is running and such, but Russell said that just helps the hackers.
