CCSA U11 Girls – Terriers February 4, 2002

First: the fun stuff:

Please remember our juggling contest. How many times can you juggle the ball without it touching the ground?

I will keep it updated with whatever is the latest news. I will even try to post games notes there within hours after our games. You are welcome to put stuff on the team website if you want, just e-mail it to me ( my e-mail address deleted ).

Should I post the goalie schedule there so you will know when to be sick?

Game:

Our First division CUP game against Coquitlam Cyclones has been re-scheduled (again) for Wednesday night at Porter School all weather field (“all weather” is a polite way to say “gravel”).

Game start is 7:45 P.M. Porter Elementary School’s address is 728 Porter Street. However, drive around the back streets by the field to park

Please be there ½ hour before game time, unless the weather is really bad then say 20 to 15 minutes.

I know some families have other commitments on Wednesday nights. Please let me know if you can’t make it. The game will not be cancelled unless absolutely necessary, as the North District has decreed that the first round games will be completed by Friday February 8^th.

Keep in mind that the other team has not been having practise, and all outside times are further been taken away for the distract CUP makeup games. The drills and game strategy we have been working on should help against this team. With our practise tonight and then a day gap, I think we have an advantage going into this game. Lets make the best of it and have a great game. Girls, cast your stuffed animal aside and sleep with your soccer ball on your pillow.

U11-Girls Assesments with Domenic:

This is all I know:

Player assessments have been officially postponed.  We will review this issue again in a few weeks.

I believe that the reason for the delay is that all fields are now being used for make up games.

I have not yet, but I will try to re-schedule our team hour with Domenic that was cancelled over a week ago.
