Note: This page is HTML 4.01 strict code compliant and passes the W3C validater (I don't bother with the validated code icon). However, this web page does not work on 64 bit Microsoft windows version 7 with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8, nor does the alternative line appear, where one can "click" for the audio. It works fine on 32 bit Windows Vista and XP with MS IE 8. I am so very tired of this shit.

The voice of Charles Oliver Smythies as found on an old reel to reel tape. He used to test his mobile amateur radio equipment by setting up a tape recorder at his base station then going to his car to do a test transmission.
This web page is likely of little interest to anyone, however I wanted to keep the audio segment somewhere.
I do not know of any other audio containing his voice.
