The intel_pstate code includes Dirk's (private, not public) 7 patches, but patch 3 of 7 (reporting frequency method) has been reverted.

. Questions: Note this goes to 3.8 Giga Hertz, as expected. Why is preformance mode different? Aren't these settings in Powersave mode the equivalent of Performance Mode?
. The CPU frequency is calm and low at the start of the experiment, but not before, as shown in detail A.
. The CPU frequency settles to a calm and low(ish) value at the end of the experiment as shown in detail B. It is desirable to go lower.
